BEACH TRIP!!!!!!!

Well again, it's been a while..... but I've been a little busy! Although no excuse to neglect the blog. I'm sorry blog if your feelings were hurt! But it's gonna be another week after this before another blog post....

BECAUSE MOM AND I ARE HEADED TO THE BEACH!!!!!!! In 11 hours actually :)

So off to Myrtle we go tomorrow morning... we fly out early so we will be on the beach by 1pm <3 EXCITED!

Well... Update on how the trip went once we return :)

ZUMBA =)

ZUMBA ZUMBA ZUMBA!!!!!

Mom and I started Zumba yesterday at my old middle school! A lady she graduated HS with goes and invited us and a lady at our church has been going to a different zumba class everyday and loves it. So mom said let's try it. I had been to one at Marshall that SUCKED really bad!!! But we went yesterday. A girl I graduated HS with was there with her mom (who is the instructor) so I was thinking this could be good! WOW WOW!!! IT WAS SO FUN NOT TO MENTION A WORK OUT! We went back tonight and it was great! I love it! Mom and I are going to go every monday night :)

HOMEMADE CLIP IT UP :D

LOWES:

36" All thread rod 7/16" (I cut mine in 1/2 so I'd have 2)

16 7/16" hex nuts

1 package of 7/16" lock washers

2 Canopy's (in the light department, they go on the celling for hanging lights from)

washertop lamp shades

you screw a hex nut then the canopy then another nut. Then nut, washer, nut combo where ever you want them on the pole, place the shade and then another nut. BAM! done :) I made both for around 20-25$

WEEK 4 of SCC!!!

SOOOO sad this is the last week :( I've learned soooo much and had a blast! I have enjoyed so many of the tips, tricks, techniques, sketches and classmates creations! It's been a pleasure to be a part of this and been grouped with these wonderful cardmaking artists!

I hung my IKEA rail (the little silver one everyone has that like $1.99) and hung my cricut mats with an S hook along with my pearls. I love it :D I am in the process of building a clip it up (make that 2 of them!) I will post my stuff about that once I am finished! Pretty excited about them too! I need to find longer screws so I can hang my rod for my ribbon. I also have just purchased a TON TON TON of scrapbooking stuff :D so much I can't even began to write it down!

NEW PAPER STORAGE!

So I have youtubed my little heart out and fell in love with this idea of how to store paper for scrapbooking! Came across it by looking for videos on how to make my own Clip-it-up! and well not only does this lovely lady have 2 clip-it-up videos she had a 12x12 paper storage soultion! YAYAYAYAAY! I NEED THIS! seeing as they are usually expensive and I have always wanted the kind like they have at the store! Here's the link to her video and shall I suggest her other videos too! I have plans to make a clip-it-up soon! and I also have plans to buy some things before card class ends and use some of the discounts we were given!!! YAY for hauls :D

I made 3 cubes high and made the shelves with the rest. My bottom cube only has 2 shelves but I like it that way so i can store larger things in the bottom. I also didn't make my shelves one squre apart, i did every other one (more hand space).

WEEK 3 of CARD CAMP!!!

I can't believe it's the 3rd week already!

This card was one I needed to make (my cousin is turning 16!). He loves red so this color combo was fantastic :). It's very very simple but it's so him!

Well it's week 2 of card camp... & LOOK AT THOSE COLORS!!! WHOO! I love them :)

I had recently gotten some new (quite bit actually! haha) stamps and supplies. I was thinking how cute would it be to use my new fruit stamps. Well what do you know these colors are watermelon colors! and I have a stamp for that :) so I used it (at least I thought it was a watermelon, it may be an orange slice haha ooppss!).

I've added a second card.... I'm not sure about it. It's sort of a mess, but I used the technique for this week, and I loved it. Then I messed it up while coloring :( so I made the best of what I ended up with.

I cut out the swirly frame thing and masked the card, doing this weeks technique with the flower-y thing. Then when I colored in the flower-y thing (this is where I messed up) I didn't have watercolors so I used markers. So I colored the white embossing powder green (ew.) Then it was on the card base too so I used the masking and stamped on it (after i glued it down, another mistake). I punched out the circles and added buttons and liquid pearls (my fav. parts!)

HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO MAKE THE CRICUT "CRICUT" LOGO?!

I love the little guy and I am getting Vinyl to decorate my cricut machine with (saw it online, super cute!). I'm gonna do like my name and some swirls and I wanted to do the little bug. But no such luck in finding it on a cartridge (its on the storefront one, but its hard to find). I saw a lady's blog and she used the George fonts cartridge. I don't have that one either. So I made do with what I had! I used plantin schoolbook cricut cartridge (oval, circle, parenthesis) and this is what I got!!!!

Dimensions Used

Head- 3" oval

Right Feeler- 2 1/2" parenthesis

Left Feeler- 2" parenthesis

Feeler Tips- 1/4" circle (two of them)

Eyeballs- 1/4" circle (two of them)

Well we got home yesterday from Jersey, and had a fabulous trip!

My grandparents seem to be doing well, better than expected which was wonderful!!! My Aunt and 2 cousins seem to be fantastic as well. It's hard to believe how grown up us grandkids are, it seems like yesterday we were kids playing Hide and Go Seek in the house, boy time flies!

We had lunch from DiVello's (BEST HOAGIES ON EARTH!) on Friday, then dinner at Rexy's. Went shopping on Saturday to South Philly to visit IKEA (why do we not have one of these close to huntington?!)and then back to Jersey for shopping at Ross (that's like our favorite store ever!!) and had diner at Tavistock Country Club to celebrate my grandparents 62nd wedding anniversary (the Filet is delish!). And we had DeVillo's again on Sunday :) We had a wonderful visit!

So on my way to visit family in Jersey (Half way there and Stayin the night in MD). We usually try to go up around July 4th and visit them! I am excited to see them :D It's been a year!

I am Loving the card class I am taking online!! It's great :D So inspiring and motivating! Excited to make some when I return home!!!

I am house sitting again when I return home and have to work some too.

Went shopping in MD today at Prime outlets and I didn't buy but 2 things :(

Feeling Organize-y!

Well today I swam with my neighbor and her 2 year old :) We had a blast and boy is that girl a FISH!!! She can tread water on her own... and she's 2! It was awesome!

I then re-organized my scrapbook room (with all the stuff I bought at the mall the last 2 days). Well not only did I clean and organize, I moved furniture too!!! (I am posting a video on youtube that I took walking through it and the changes; poodleprincess08 is my username on there, so look it up!!!)

I am off work until Monday (YEPPIE!) so maybe I'll make cards and scrapbook tomorrow :)

So I realize that this post is really really random, but oh well :D

HOLY MOLY!

It's been over a YEARRR since I posted last, oooppppssss!!!!!

Guess I've been kinda busy (maybe forgot about it)

So what's been going on in my life.... (in no order what so ever)

Well, I just finished my Junior year at Marshall University in the Nursing Program
(it sucked and was super stressful/hard but I made it along with my classmates!!!)

I got a lot closer to some of my classmates :) I honestly would not have made it without them!

I became SNA President!

I had a blood clot in my Right lung (march 15th) and spent 4 days in the hospital (BUT I'M FINE!!!) been on coumadin since then and hopefully go off that this week coming up :)

I started weight watchers (lost 18 pounds so far)

Got a job at Cabell in the OR as a nurse Extern :)

I took a summer class all summer of 2010, did the whole junior year, then just finished a summer class (4 week) for summer 2011 (with an A!!!). School has been killer

I went to an Eric Church Concert (BEST CONCERT EVER)! Great Performer and great music <3

I went through a crashing of a laptop... then went Mac and I'll never go back

Got an iPhone (I LOVE IT!)

Began Cardmaking/ Scrapbooking (got a cricut for Christmas, thanks mom and dad)

I turned 21!!!

Did Be Hope to Her for the 3rd time (and loved it even more)

I am sure so much more has happened but that's what I can think of... Now as to what is to come next

Working about 3 days a week for the most part (9-5)
House sitting for people at my church some
Continuing Weight Watchers with my Mom
Starting Couch to 5K
Maybe learn how to play my guitar
Make some cards
Planning SNA stuff
Going to my Dads Parents house
Going to the Greenbrier Classic with Dad
Going to the beach with mom
Then beginning my senior year of nursing school
